Terms & Conditions

  • Booking Terms and Conditions

A £200 deposit is required when booking with the remaining balance due 8 weeks before your holiday.

The deposit is non-refundable if you elect to cancel your holiday however if sufficient notice is given and another booking is received that covers the period of your original holiday I would be happy to consider refunding your deposit.

If you elect to cancel your holiday within 8 weeks of its start date, I reserve the right to retain the fee in full, however, if another booking is received that covers the period of your original holiday I will consider a partial or full refund depending on the amount of notice given and the value paid for the replacement booking.

  • Covid-19 Terms & Conditions

If the Government or Isles of Scilly Council re-apply restrictions to tourism in Scilly which prevent your holiday from taking place, I will rollover your payment for a holiday at another time (subject to price adjustments if the re-scheduled holiday is at a more expensive time of the year) or provide a full refund if there is no availability during the following season. If your holiday in Scilly is possible but you choose to cancel, then the general terms and conditions detailed above apply ie. refunds will only be considered if more than 8 weeks' notice is given or I receive another booking for your original holiday dates.

If you become unwell and test positive for Covid-19 during your holiday:

The Isles of Scilly Coronavirus Fund will provide private transport back to the mainland if a visitor tests positive for the virus during their holiday on the islands.

Visitors with severe symptoms would be supported by local NHS services, including emergency evacuation to mainland treatment if required. Those with mild symptoms who test positive can safely return home to self-isolate at no additional cost to themselves, while accommodation providers can honour subsequent bookings after a deep clean of the property. This service would also be available to those who are named as a contact in the national Test and Trace system.

If a visitor develops symptoms of Coronavirus during their holiday, they would self-isolate in their accommodation and arrange for a test for the virus. If they test positive, they would be eligible for private sea or air transport to the mainland, where they can self-isolate at home, in line with government advice. Contacts of positive cases will also be eligible.

Private transport would usually be provided by Tresco Boat Services and St Mary’s Boatmen’s Association, using boats where crew and passengers can be isolated. Penzance Helicopters would also be able to provide private air transport aboard a dedicated aircraft specially equipped with protective features used on air ambulance aircraft.

In all cases, no other passengers would be present, other than the affected holiday party and the vessel or aircraft would be deep cleaned before any subsequent use.
